The Two Antidotes

“Success is given to those who patiently give effort. The rushed seem never to be satisfied.”

Prologue

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted success. As does everyone, my story’s reason is no different than the man that opened his first store or the lady that created her first group seminar. What success is to us is simply a state of being. Where we feel satisfied where we are and going. It’s a feeling of alignment toward a sensation of defined by your own psyche. We all have different subjects of it and there’s plenty of loops of success you can claim. For example, A fitness model is successful for their health and physique. A Cook for their work and creativity on dishes.

This sense of success is divided to what you want. The cook can be very successful at his work, but could be quite unsuccessful in their own health and fitness, the same applies to the model. People’s dictation of success is almost widespread across the internet. People encouraging things that are indeed great to do and have. However, at some point we have to ask ourselves “Do I feel successful or is this for another?” We easily are hardwired to believe in what a widespread thinks is accurate. It does indeed take effort of some to depart from that painting and use a special set of your own colors.

Defining that alone takes a great work. To depart from something so usual to the unknown takes a piece of the experience and darkens it. But this is only momentarily. What I’ve noticed in my own experience is, these things of dim light are only temporary. They have to come as indications. Problems are opportunities in disguise. Scooby doo and the gang never immediately knew who the monster was today, but they did take a slow and consistent matter toward it and eventually solve the mystery.

Take yourself in that position. You don’t know much. In fact, There have been too many changes in the world to be indigenous to anything. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t solve it. We are naturally programmed to solve problems. However, what dictates you from finding those answers you seek are two key ingredients called patience and effort.

Patience

One of the truly trickiest skills to master, Patience is a virtue that shows a commitment beyond any other. The simple definition is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. To give patience toward something, You are giving it the space it needs to grow. The distance between yourself and the subject and leaving that room for something to fill within. To simply allow without a turbulent disruption within based on results.

Most of us lack this skill from the biggest thing to the smallest chore. We live in an immediate world, it’s very understandable. Most people from the generations before see and respond actively. But, the society we live is on a platform, a media, or a electronical conduit that provides us everything we want now. That is extremely powerful to use but extremely easy to be abused. Abused in a sense of ourselves, we lack the spacing between what it is we want to know and where we will take it. Things come at us randomly, things we aren’t even aware of. We lack the skills our old fathers were harden too and sure the new skills we have acquired are beyond what they could. But understand that they, as all of us are, were equally successful in their time because of such a skill.

Suppose a person wants to start a business. A business is like a child. A life that you have to build, structure, organize, and plan for. Not only that. But you have to continuously do it. Again and again, you are remodeling your mistakes for success. As someone without patience, this is not possible. You seek a problem and instead of sitting with said problem to translate, often times we distance ourselves from the original plan all along. We drift elsewhere.

Patience is a core foundation for a successful lifestyle. All people who have succeeded have been patient. Regardless of the occupation, they have departed their mind and spirits away from the result and instead into the pathway that work leads to said destination. Staying on this path of consistency ( More talk on this on another blog) will enlighten you to ways which help the mind flourish beyond your immediate responses.

Effort

The second blend to this recipe is the one that comes equally with its difficulties. Effort is simply a vigorous or determined attempt. Putting it in new words, Its giving it your best action. You can claim yourself to be a fitness model but have you really put the effort to build and model yourself as such? Have you done the hard work it really takes to get a fit body or a diet making your body at its most optimal performances? Chances you have (hopefully). But it wasn’t you just saying it that got the goals achieved. It was the actions or effort.

Taking the business person example again, we know businesses take a lot of patience and time to be created successfully. Equally so, the amount of actions and energy this takes is something truly of dedication. A business can not be built in one day, a month, or even a year. But effort on that business for the same amounts time will be worth all the wild.

And no each days effort is not the same. Trust me and everyone you can ask, There’s no such limit or boundary that effort has. You can create that yourself. But know that some days are a lot more tiring than others. Some Sundays you may need to recover. Some Sundays you may need to go all out. This is something you must conclude yourself. The effort here is great nourishment for yourself.

These days we flaunt our efforts. We make the results look so much more promising than what it took to get it. Most don’t have a solid clue how someone got that $1.5 million dollar house or that new truck. They simply see the result and instead of acknowledging what is needed, we begin to feast on the competition of being better. But truthfully, there is no competition that can ever result in a more effort way than the work that is necessary to be done. Doing the necessary work is great effort.

Conclusion

Lets ground ourselves to know that we are all indifferent to our situations and the problems given to us as said before are our own opportunities to unmask. I’m never the type to judge or attack on someone’s person but, if you live by another’s mean or way of life, you’ve given up on your own. In college, we call this plagiarism. In life, I call them decoys.

Living your life within your reason is the way. Don’t let that be blinded. Serious matters are not meant to be easy. They’re meant to be taken with deep reflection and explanation. Just take your time and Do your best. Patience and effort.
